Vendor Category Exclusivity
Want to stand out at the next Black Business Takeover?
Select vendors may have the opportunity to secure category exclusivity for an event. This means you would be the only approved vendor offering your specific primary product or service category at that BBTO experience.
For example, approved exclusive categories may include:
- Cake Vendor
- Candle Vendor
- Realtor
- Insurance Provider
- Mobile Bartender
- Specialty Food Vendor
- Other defined product or service categories
How It Works
Category exclusivity is:
- Optional
- Available for an additional vendor fee
- Limited to one approved vendor per specific category
- Available on a first-confirmed basis
- Valid for the specific BBTO event for which it is purchased
Because some businesses offer multiple products or services, the BBTO team will confirm the specific category covered by your exclusivity before payment.
Important to Know
Requesting exclusivity does not automatically reserve your category.
Your exclusive vendor spot is confirmed once:
- Your category is approved and still available
- Your exclusive vendor rate is confirmed
- Payment is received
BBTO reserves the right to define category boundaries to keep the vendor experience fair and provide a strong variety of businesses for our attendees.
